The Tin Man

New update, new guy.

This is actually a new face from me, and a special project. I like projects, this is my new one. Or older one. I have had this head a while, but didn't really know what to do with it. Until I started to listen to the steam punk band Steam Powered Giraffe. I really like that band, and I fell head over heel for Bunny. I knew I wanted a steam punk android. And I knew what I should do with my spear floating head. A steam punk bot!

So, it took some time before I had the design of the face. It was not easy to know I can tell you! I'm not very good at visualizing what I want. It took time, but I figured out what I wanted. Then I had to find someone to paint it for me. Luckily for me, I had a doll friend that was willing to take on him. I'm very pleased with the outcome. And I must say, having a metal doll is wonderful! I love how the texture is so different on him. Not the soft egg shell surface like the other dollies, but a smooth glossy feel to it. I like the metal feel and texture on him. Totally love! I kinda have a metal fetish (go shiny stuffs!), so this head is just love. He is long from finished. He have no body yet, he is borrowing right now. I do have his style, he will be steam punk (have to fix better gear for him). He will not have hair, at least not for now, and that is kinda weird as well, seeing the head this way. But I like it.

I have different eye on him, one green and one brown. Kinda like that as well. There is a lot I like about this boy. Something to work on. I like having doll project. He might be a android robot, but he is a charming gentleman
